I am tempted to write all the detail of everyday i spend here, but then i think it might be boring for you and tiring for me. It would be great to be a gifted writer, it's so nice to read well written anything...
The days here go very slow and relaxed. Tonight is almost 10 pm and i'm soooooo tired. We were watching a very bad movie on TV and I fell asleep aroun 8:30. It's cold and it gets dark early.
Guess what!!! today I made chilaquiles....can you believe it? They tasted really good though I put too much sauce and went soggy, but tasty nevertheless, so i madle chilaquiles in Danmark, unbelievable.
Yesterday we went to see another castle: Frederiksborg Slot In the chapel is where Frederik and Mary got married, it's beautiful, and a choir was rehersing for the Messiah. The palace is like a fairy tale one, with the beautiful manicured baroque gardens with a maze in the shape of the royal crowns cut out of shrubs, lakes, ducks, the ring of water around the castle (where the dragons live to protect the castle...ok , that's my version). It's royal and luxurious, beautiful wood carved everything, stucco, so much, the ballroom is beatuful and big, and the royal handshake sort of possessed me......hahaha!!! well, princess Carolina of Kitsilano, could be some town in Denmark, hah ahaha.
Today we went to see the Hamlet's Castle, Kronborg Slot, in the city of Helsinger. This one is muuuch older and you can feel it. It's very dark, and so medieval. I really like the roughness. But inside feels different than outside. Outside it has copper roofs, ornate towers that look somewhat a cross between thai-gothic but inside is rough, it feels old and it would e great to hear what the walls have to say. These castles have been destroyed, burnt, occupied soI wonder how much of the original aesthetic remain, but still they are magnificent. In this castle they have a maritime museum which is very intersting, I'm sure that maritime afficionados would enjoy it very much. Also, they show the Hamlet play during the summer. In here there is a big Viking whom is supposed to save Danmark of any invasion, soif the country is in danger "he will rise and lead an army of children under 12 and the greying...." The beds are really small, I don't think the vikings were that tall (maybe fat) but definately not the size that I had imagined..big blond beasts. Today apparently are much taller than then.
Then we went for a stroll in Helsinger, a beautiful town (OK they call them cities), and we came up with the name of "Danish Tijuana" as the swedes cross the border to buy cheap buz and get drunk and obnoxious. It has many gorgeous little cafes, lots of lingerie shops, cobble stone roads, postcard perfect little nordic houses, and they still use the signage style fo old times, for example, the eye glass store has a big a big pair of eye glasses, the butchery a big cow head, and so on. I got pics that I might be sending to M or M to post.
OK, so i've written mch more than i thought i was going to, as they say i'll just go with the flow and write whatever comes out of my little fingers.

No!!... write about everthing. We want to hear about it. I have heard that copenhagen is a very beautiful city. One place I never made it too.. although the thought of eating pickled herring and bread does not appeal to me. If you thought you were eating too many carbohydrates in Denmark.. wait until you get to Paris. All that bread and croissants. Yum.. Ha ha ha.. Glad you are having a good time so far. Can't wait to hear what is next.!!!
