Some notes on Danish Design
This place is full of modern design and great architecture. The airport is bright and clean and a great example Scandinavian style. Imagine, the floor is all dark hardwood and all the details are in stainelss steel, glass and AMAZING chairs, totally designer, like world-known Danish icons Poul Kaerhole and Anre Jacobsen, in different bright colours depending on the room you're in.
It seems that here architecture and design is a natural part of everyday life. Simplicity and functionality permeates society and there's really no excuse not to have beauty around you in the form of beautiful things. Now, thatøs NOT beign materialistic, but, why not surround yourself with whatever beauty your wallet allows for??.
FYI - some noteworthy designers
Børge Mogensen and Arne Jacobsen - furniture
Hans J. Wegner - carpetner.
Palace Hotel by the art nouveau architect Anton Rosen and the SAS Royal Hotel by the functionalist Arne Jacobsen – then the interiors are often created with Danish tradition in mind.
Other great Danish designers Finn Juhl and Ole Wanscher.
In other words, Danish style is amazing as it is expensive, image INFORM everywhere!!! or even more dangerous, a store called ILLUMS BOLIGHUS - to go bankrupt and die for over and over again, I could have blown thousands of dollars there, it's industrial design paradise, from tea pots and silver ware, to lamps and furniture and everything in between.

Caballo, then you really have pieces of art surrounding you and you dont even notice. Like me, for example. I have a very attractive curvy shape, my heart is made of stainless steel and sometimes I get so cold that my hands feel like glass. My eyes get the glassy look if I'm tired or if I drank too much. The only Danish design I know is the one related to danish pastries, with different jams in the middle of a perfectly baked circle of puffy dough, and as for furniture, I only know Swedish and could buy everything IKEA. Kissesdelgato.

It sounds really cool, however, I am afraid that just like the gato, my favorite danish design is the one with red-currant or raspberry jam on it.

Wow Carolina -- it sounds as though you're getting massive inspiration! I just did my first piece of furniture ever -- a shelf made with galvanized pipe and pine boards from Lowe's. It looks cool, inspired by a Design Within Reach shelf system. But my father and i nearly lost some fingers installing it...
Are you going to come back as an industrial designer? Te tengo tanta envidia. 'Ta luego!
