SUMMER IS FINALLY HERE!!!!

2 days ago summer finally arrived! ALELUYA!!! but guess what.... now it's too cold.
In the last 2 days the temperature changed about 18 degrees. It's hot, it's gorgeous and it feels like Acapulco. Because we had such a long stretch of cold weather the skin really feels the bite of the sun, I am already tanned.

Last week I went to Whislter for a few days and came back all bruised up, with a very swollen ankle and red like a lobster. Went river kayaking...so much fun! and the sun was OUT thought the breeze was cool, my legs and arms looked raw. At night it was cold. I also went mountain biking and had a major freak out, so I got off the bike and stepped onto the ground but it wasn't solid, it was a bed of dry leaves and I twisted my ankle good! It popped and it hurt. I ignored it of course, but the following night it got hugh and purple.

On Sunday we went to the Jazz Festival at the David Lam park, it was a perfect evening of dancing, listening to music, seeing crazy people and watching Carlo play, yell, scream, dance, cheer and clap. He is so much fun to go out with!

Summer in Vancouver, that's what we all live for in this city. I hope it lasts for more than a couple of weeks, though I hope it's a little cooler!!
