WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE MOVIE???

I love movies, I like to watch almost all movies, I say almost because there are a couple at least that I was so mad to have wasted my time watching, one was "From Dusk 'til Dawn" and the other one, similar don't remember the name. Other than that, I like even bad movies. With some of them I wonder what the heck were they thinking! others to me it seems like some friends with money get together to fool around with the medium they are familiar with and fool us into paying to see them playing; some are ridiculous; some are stupid; some are funny; some are deep; some are exhausting; some are enlightening; some are educational; etc, etc, etc. You can find anything almost anytime. It's funny how the same genre of movies come out all at once and usually the summer block busters are crap; but sometimes they are not. I can't wait to see the Pirates of the Caribbean part 3; watched Spider man 3 and despite terrible reviews I liked it and yesterday I went to watch a really good movie called Avenue Montagne (or something like that). Great french movie.

This year is the 30th anniversary of Star Wars (oh my gosh!) a movie that we all know change the way we look at movies and changed a few lives that I know of. The Lord of the Rings trilogy and Little Miss Sunshine are amongst some of my favourite movies along with Big Fish, the last 007, Bill and Ted excellent adventure (I laughed my head off w/that movie!!) and so many more. But my favourite movie of all times is an italian movie called Cinema Paradiso....

20 Degrees

Today was 20 Degrees!!! And in classy, well-heeled spanish Bea and I were saying:
"'Sta Dura la Calor!!"

Jajajaja, seriously at 20C it feels HOT. Our faces are burned already eventhough we both use sunscreen. Everyone is wearing shorts and t-shirts and it feels like summer!!! YUPPPII... the mood of this city really changes with the seasons. But, in the shade it was "crispy". The breeze feels a little cold, but the sun is hot!

MAY 15 (1993)

Dean and I when we had just started going out in 1987 - 20 years ago. Gosh! we've aged.

Today, 14 years ago, I got married. Today, I'm single, homeless and jobless. Nice going, eh?

Amazing how life throws these curveballs that leave the head spinning at 1000 miles per hour.

As the saying goes: "the road to hell is paved with good intentions"..... so, is the road to heaven paved with bad ones??....hahaha... I guess now it's time to start looking ahead and not have so many good intentions.

THE COWS

Time to be going somewhere, not much traffic and there it is....a Cow in front and a Cow besides, and then I'm trapped unable to move anywhere. So many cows actually stay withing the granny speed limit in this city which is 50kph. 50 is ridiculous. And COWS abound. They always show up particularly when you need to get somewhere quickly. Sometimes I think they are angels preventing me from speeding and crashing. But the COWS cause road rage, gosh! I know so many swear words....hahaha.

In Mexico if someone was doing something stupid while driving the typical thing I remember people saying was: seguro que es vieja!!!..... aqui es.. seguro que es chino!!! en serio que los asiaticos en general no saben manejar. Son peligrosos y generalmente son las VACAS mas notorias.
